We don't want to enter into any argument that whether demonetization was a good decision or not, or whether it was fruitful or not, but the citizens of India shown one thing very clearly that they stand up altogether against corruption. It was pathetic experience to stand in long queue for hours. From teenagers to elderly everyone was standing in queue, but yes they stand strong. In such a day the president of SDC, M. Sanjay Kumar Jha was also standing in queue when he himself experienced the struggle and immediately decided to do something to help the peoples standing in queue. Immediately a team was formed including General Secretary, SDC, Founder secretary of ILA foundation Dr. Nishank Shekhar (Sr. Doctor, Medanta) and other team members and for continued 15 days this team served the peoples standing in queue at various ATMs and bank branches of Delhi and Delhi NCR. Around 50000 peoples were served with cold water pouches, snacks, tissue papers and awareness leaflets and most importantly emergency medical care. SDC wants to extend its sincere thanks to ILA foundation and Dr. Shekhar for his kind support.

With the help of SDC (Social Development Club), member organization IRDEO, MANIPUR won a project worth 4.5 CR under DDU-GKY. During the Qualitative appraisal by NABCONS visited IRDEO, MANIPUR. With me Mr. KH. Kumar Singh, Shitaljit Sapamcha, Mr. Jaishankar, Dr. Rajendra from IRDEO, Shri Aditya Mohan Pradhan, From NABCONS. A great organization to work with. Sweet, but talented people, team like family and hosting like family member. Both the organizations joined hand to train 800 beneficiaries in Manipur.

Strange? Yes but this is also to check. HAYAT hospitals, Bhopal in association with SDC organized one day health checkup camp for the Member of Parliaments and Member of Legislative assembly at Bhopal. Interestingly most of the MPs and MLAs took full advantage of this camp and appreciated the efforts.

Under its mandate to strengthen small and medium sized organizations in India SDC joined hands with IRDEO Manipur to implement DDU-GKY program for the under privileged youth of affected district Thoubal at Manipur. Both the organization took all necessary efforts to get the project and at last we won a project to train 800 beneficiaries in the district. Working hard and day night IRDEO became one of the first organizations who initiated the training in the district. SDC has set its ethical parameters to implement the project and all member organization who wins a project need to implement the project with the same ethics. We are sure the program is going to be a big success, not in terms of organizational growth, but also for the beneficiaries.

What if you initiate a program without preparation? This is what happened previously. It was 2015 when GoI initiated Skill Development Activities and a number of programs with the help of various ministries and agencies. NSDC started working, SSCs were formed, NSDA started working, but there were a huge lacking in uniformity of curriculum and syllabus. Previously only NCVT were working on these domains and gradually MES is replaced with NOS. Qualification packs were designed, but unfortunately because of no training, implementing agencies were heavily confused with the content requirements and certification. This was also a time when SDC was formed and from its inception SDC made it its prime agenda to work for content and curriculum designing. Till date SDC developed and designed curriculums and packages for more than 320 job roles and it's still growing. We also noticed that developers were charging very high to the PIAs for curriculums, and we delivered the content on very cheap rates. Now SDC have wide range of clients, small, medium, large almost all such organizations are the clients of SDC.

On a special invite SDC team visited 'Indian Institute of youth welfare - NAGPUR'. The team was really amazed with the creative use of waste and great German Model of water harvesting. This organization is the biggest institute for Angan Bari workers. A 32 years old organization IIYW under effective leadership of senior activists and its director Ms. Shilpa Mirashe is creating new history every day. SDC and IIYW ethically joined hands to impact the society with a greater vision and shown its keen interest to work together.

IRDEO, MANIPUR our member organization from Maharashtra Vidyaniketan College of Engineering and Technology (Punjab Seva Samitee) also won a project under DDU-GKY. Most amazingly on our personal request member organization from MP, Lake City Priyadarshini Social Welfare Society (Hayat Hospitals) represented by Mohd. Zainuddin Zain and From Maharashtra itself Bhagyalaxmi health and education society represented by Dr. Kamal Chhabrani came forward to assist Punjab seva samiti in successful execution of project. This is what called bridging the GAP. Thanks for all your blessing. The centre was inspected by NABCONS, represented by Mr. Ashwani Kumar. The entire board of PSS, BHES, and SDC experts were present during the visit.

After Manipur MoRD opened the DDU-GKY project in Maharashtra and SDC was approached by its member organization BHES to help Punjab Seva Samittee with the project, which is 37 years old organization from Nagur, doing tremendous job for the community. The organization is running one school, one Junior college, one Dawakhana and one engineering college. Taking one step ahead SDC joined hands with PSS and won a project worth 2.8 CR in Maharashtra for affected district Gadhchirauli. Happy to share that within a month PSS is all set to host 140 beneficiaries for Batch – 01 and training will be started soon.

24th February 2017 was the date when I attended SDC workshop at Delhi (However I usually avoid attending such events). There was a session by Mr. Vishwendra N. Thakur, General Secretary, SDC. The moment he started making his presentation, the very first thought was ‘He is the man I was searching for'. And surprisingly I was right. From that date till today that particular speaker of workshop is now my mentor and we are working together for not only various skill development projects in India, but now he is also a guiding force for me. Thanks Social Development Club.

Ours is a 30 years old organization headquartered at Manipur. I met Team – SDC. Decided to work with them. You will be surprised to note on the suggestion we opted for DDU-GKY project. SDC failed 5 times in initial screening and we lost around 1.5 lakh. My board started thinking like I am wasting money for some consultant, but I had a trust, a firm belief on the person leading Social Development Club – Vishwendra. Encouraged him to try again. Interestingly 6 th time we succeed. Now under kind guidance of SDC, IRDEO is implementing 5 CR project under DDU-GKY in Manipur and all credit goes to SDC. Now I feel SDC is my organization and Team SDC is my family. It's just a start, planning to expand our initiatives. God bless SDC.

Founder Secretary
IRDEO, Manipur

I am an Eye Surgeon by profession and always wanted to benefit the society, hence founded an organization. I tried my level best to run and ensure growth for the organization, but because of hectic schedule and lack of knowledge I was usually cheated by various consultants. Then eventually I started working with SDC. Now we are running various projects at our own and also in collaborations. SDC is now providing us the handholding support at every step. To be honest without discussing with experts of SDC I usually don't take even a single decision. I pray for a sustainable development and growth of such organization. Many small and medium sized organizations like us, needs SDC.

The workshop organized by Social Development Club is actually terrific use of my time. I will take so much back with me to use for myself and to better my organization. All the information related to different projects under Ministries, CSR Project and other concepts are an attraction of workshop. I have a new understanding of my own influence and no longer consider myself ‘low on the totem pole.' Thank you!” SDC.

On behalf of our 32 years old society, which is running a school, a Junior college, a Hospital we were also running an Engineering college in a campus of 35 Acres. Because of downtime in higher education sector it became difficult to sustain the college. Fortunately through a common friend we came to know about organization Social Development Club and approached them to discuss the same. In 5 months of joint efforts now we are implementing 3 CR project at our campus thus happily able to benefit the young India. As we also don't have enough knowledge to run the project, SDC is providing us 24X7 assistance which encouraged us a lot. Thanks SDC. We are expecting continued support.
